Pump Troubleshooting

pump troubleshooting

When you turn on the tap and no water comes out, it’s an issue.

Essential Water Works can diagnose and repair almost any issue with one service call—and we will ensure we are not replacing equipment unnecessarily.

Common indicators of issues include:

  • A reduced well yield. (You may run out of water mid-shower, for example, or have extremely low pressure when you turn on your kitchen tap.)

  • Sediment (like sand or silt) in the water.

  • A change in water quality (eg. the water has a change, develops a colour or smells like rotten eggs).

  • Air or dissolved gas in the water. (Water may come out of your tap in quick, short bursts.)

If you're experiencing any of the symptoms above, or others, don't ignore them. Call Essential Water Works and we’ll get you back on track.
